EDUX 6340 (1-3 Units available). This course offers a clear and accessible introduction to the Understanding by Design (UbD) program. Staff developers, in particular, can use it to introduce the framework to their district. Additionally, districts can use the course content to audit their existing curriculum management system using UbD principles and strategies. Educators will explore how the principles and practices of Understanding by Design can help them get the most out of their instructional time.
