EDUX 7905 In this course, participants will examine best literacy practices. The course introduces strategies that encourage students to overcome challenges in reading, speaking, and writing. Participants will summarize and evaluate research on the course topic, actively engage in related activities,and establish future goals for their classroom. During this course,students enhance their instructional practice through applying research-based strategies and reflecting on their learning experiences.
NOTE: Independent Podcast Study utilizes podcasts, streaming, YouTube videos, TED Talks, Talks at Google, IdeaCity, PopTech, Big Think, or other streaming options as the main focus of research. A list of suggestions will be provided (see specific directions in the course syllabus and assignment templates).
