In this course, participants will explore the urgent and growing issue of childhood trauma and its profound effect on learning and development. This course will help educators understand the ways in which trauma affects the brain, as well as tips and techniques for how to create a trauma-sensitive classroom. Participants will learn how to create a trauma-sensitive learning environment by using strategies that allow students to grow, thrive, and learn at high-levels.
