Course Description

EDUX 7838 How Learning Works.  This course explores how effective organization enhances retrieval and use of information.  Through a book written by several researchers, How Learning Works: Seven Research-Based Principles for Smart Teaching (Ambrose, et al. 2010), participants will examine what impacts motivation.  The course offers suggestions for refining teaching approaches and strategies that more effectively foster student learning in specific contexts.
