Course Description

EDUX 7835 Home, School, and Community Relations.  In this course, participants will examine practical strategies from Home, School, and Community Relations (Gestwicki, 2015) to help teachers and administrators create effective, culturally-competent partnerships with families.  Course participants will learn about the diversity and needs of families they will encounter.  This course presents both the benefits of creating productive partnerships and the barriers that teachers must overcome.
