In this course, participants will explore practical strategies presented by Dr. Daniel Amen and Dr. Lisa C. Routh in their book Healing Anxiety and Depression to understand the major anxiety and depression centers of the brain. The course provides guidelines and diagnostic tools to determine the specific type of disorder. Course participants will discover how medication, diet, supplements,exercise, and social and therapeutic support can help reduce anxiety and depression.
NOTE: Students who have completed EDUX 7404 may not register for this course.
