EDUX 7817 Number Talks: Whole Number Computation
This course supports teachers in implementing classroom talks as presented by Sherry Parris in her book Number Talks: Whole Number Computation. Students will explore classroom conversations around purposefully crafted computation problems that are solved mentally. The course supports teachers in understanding how to build student understanding in mathematics, how to design purposeful number talks, and how to develop specific strategies for their grade level.
