Course Description

EDUX 7816 Reading Strategies: Developing Skilled Readers

In this course, participants will examine practical strategies from The Reading Strategies Book: Your Everything Guide to Developing Skilled Readers (Serravallo, 2015) to help developing readers make progress every day. Course participants will learn how to help their students develop reading goals, implement reading strategies, and increase their fluency and comprehension. This course will help teachers adjust their instruction to meet individual student needs and move their students forward.
