EDUX 7780 H. Course participants will explore ways to reconnect with students,include them in the learning process, and guide them toward success in school. Participants will summarize and evaluate research on the course topic, actively engage in related activities, and establish future goals for their classroom. During this course, students enhance their instructional practice through applying research-based strategies and reflecting on their learning experiences. This course combines educational theory and practical implementation of strategies that encourage deeper learning and increase student achievement.
NOTE: Independent Study is an adaptable learning format for teachers to gain university credit as they choose a subject that is of interest to them as well as beneficial for their classroom.
