EDUX 5620: COOPERATIVE GAMES AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT

Course Description

EDUX 5620 (A, B, C, D). This course is designed for teachers who wish to put excitement, fun, and significant physical development into their classroom activities. Cooperative games build social skills and help students realize the importance of collaboration and mutual success. Participants will discover how cooperative games encourage teamwork, creative thinking, and problem solving. Because physical development is an essential part of the education of the whole child, participants will gain insights in how to encourage their students to exercise regularly and be more alert and energetic in the academic arena of the classroom program. Teachers will rediscover the joys of a well-rounded program that incorporates physical activity with the teambuilding concepts of cooperative games.
