*Summer courses will be presented in our new ONLINE/HYBRID format - Syllabi will be emailed upon enrollment, and course will consist of 45 total hours of online learning and outside practicum. We are closely following the recommendations of State, Federal and Local ordinances and will update students as needed.


EDUX 5590 (A, B, C, D).  This course will offer a treasure chest of outstanding contemporary and traditional teaching strategies that achieve student success across the curriculum. Participants will explore programs that have application to every learning level and student background. Participants will discover successful programs in existing classrooms as the best tools of the trade are shared by teachers collaborating with fellow educators.  

  • Select from a variety of strategies that meet the requirements of students facing the rigors of a changing society with emphasis on Content Standards.

  • Augment strategies with the support of the newest technological innovations.

  • Meet the challenges of students with the highest levels of sophistication in the history of the schools.

  • Combine exciting and challenging classroom projects with the requirements of mandated programs.

  • Discover ways to compete with entertainment media that consumes students’ basic interests.

  • Utilize successful interactive communication processes.

 


Course Requirements

Defined course meetings, times and attendance policy (specific to each class).

GRADING:  Things that affect your grade are attendance, promptness, participation in class discussions, quality of work generated, remembering to sign in and out, projects completed, and quality of assignments and homework completed.


Active on-task participation is necessary to receive credit.
