EDUX 7735 (3 units). Course participants will learn how to develop common core curriculum that integrates technology in the classroom and will explore technology resources that help to differentiate instruction, facilitate classroom discussions, and motivate their students. Participants will summarize and evaluate research on the course topic, actively engage in related activities, and establish future goals for their classroom. During this course, students enhance their instructional practice through applying research-based strategies and reflecting on their learning experiences. This course combines educational theory and practical implementation of technology in the classroom.
NOTE: Independent Study is an adaptable learning format for teachers to gain university credit as they choose a subject that is of interest to them as well as beneficial for their classroom.
