EDUX 7545: Educational Methods and Strategies - A

Course Description

If you are a Master Teacher (district-employed supervisor) with evidence of training, please enroll in this course and complete the required assignments to receive your credit. For suggested guidelines, details can be found HERE.

If you are an attendee of the Ensure Justice Conference, please enroll in this course and complete the required assignments to receive your credit.  The fee to attend the conference itself is separate, details can be found HERE

NOTE:  This course is offered as a follow-up practicum with educational conferences, workshops, seminars or other professional development experiences.

EDUX 7545.   In this course, students will consider educational methods and strategies they have acquired in their professional development experiences (i.e., workshops, seminars, conferences).  Students will summarize, reflect, evaluate and further research the topic(s) covered in their professional development experience.  This is a creative and unique opportunity for teachers to gain university credit as they analyze their previous professional development experiences, enhance their instructional practice, and establish future goals for their classroom.

Course Requirements

This course is available for 1, 2, or 3 units.  Please see Course Level pull-down menu to the right to choose the number of credits selected for this course (F = 1 unit, G = 2 units, and H = 3 units).

 

SYLLABUS AND COURSE INSTRUCTIONS

 

This course does not include the cost of any conference registration.  If applicable, students must register and pay for any conference fees separately.
