This course showcases a variety of exciting techniques that will help to release the creativity of educators and their students.  While scripted instruction has weakened the ability of students to problem-solve creatively, this course will offer inventive practices that motivate students and bring mundane aspects of the curriculum to life in ways that reward and enrich every child’s learning experience. Enrichment concepts can be applied across the curriculum including: language arts, social science, math and science. Creativity in the approach to content can be of significant value across the curriculum. Participants will explore presentation formats and develop a portfolio of exciting ideas that have application to the whole teaching/learning experience.

  • Bring out the creativity of students at all levels of achievement and ability.

  • Relate creativity to the gifted.

  • Develop a classroom atmosphere in which all students are motivated to express themselves creatively.

  • Develop a file of creative approaches to every aspect of the curriculum.

  • Manage a classroom in which students are working on a broad variety of activities and self expression at the same time.
