In this course, participants will learn how to translate the common core standards into practice and develop curriculum and strategies to accelerate student achievement. Course participants will summarize and evaluate research on the course topic, actively engage in related activities, and establish future goals for their classroom. Participants will enhance their instructional practice through applying research-based strategies and reflecting on their learning experiences. This course combines educational theory and practical implementation of the common core standards.
