Course Description
NOTE: This course is offered as a follow-up practicum in conjunction with Media in Education type conferences and conventions.
EDUX 7505 (F,G,H) – Media in Education A (1 – 3 units)
This course is designed to examine how professional development experiences in educational media conferences influence an educator’s teaching or leadership practice. Students will summarize, reflect, evaluate and/or further research the media education topics and issues covered in their seminars and workshops. This course is a creative and unique opportunity for teachers and administrators to gain university credit as they analyze their professional development experiences, enhance their instructional or leadership practice, and establish future goals for the use of media in their school or classroom. This course may be repeated for credit.
Course Requirements
This course is available for 1, 2, or 3 units. Please see Course Level pull-down menu to the right to choose the number of credits selected for this course (F = 1 unit, G = 2 units, and H = 3 units).
SYLLABUS AND COURSE INSTRUCTIONS
This course does not include the cost of any conference registration. If applicable, students must register and pay for any conference fees separately.
