This course investigates ways that teachers can create a classroom in which students can actively experience, experiment, and discover a foreign language. Course participants will summarize and evaluate research on the course topic, actively engage in related activities, and establish future goals for their students. During this course, participants enhance their instructional practice through applying research-based strategies and reflecting on their learning experiences. This course combines educational theory and practical implementation of strategies for interactive and engaging world language instruction.
